Enlightenment vs Vedruss

Writer: Awakening JungleAwakening Jungle

About two years ago I started getting interested in enlightenment. Previously I thought only a handful of people throughout history had attained this state and certainly nobody at present day. However, I came across some teachings from people who are alive and well today and that led me to believe that attaining enlightenment was in fact a real possibility.

So I started the famous seekers journey. Of course I got nowhere for a long time. That is a reoccurring theme amongst seekers. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. After I was fed up with it, I gave up. At exactly that moment it came. It didn't last very long though, about two or three days. So I had lost it, and the seeker journey started again. I had a few fleeting moments of awakening some time later but again, it didn't last. I learned one thing though, what enlightenment or awakening is, and what it isn't. What it isn't is everything you think it is. The old saying of "enlightenment is not what you think it is", is really true. Don't take my word for it but from my experience, enlightenment is just about conscious awareness. You become very, very conscious, and very aware. It is as if you have been asleep all your life and suddenly wake up. That is the best way I can put it. It is quite an incredible experience I must say.

You can be awakened right now if you so desire. Just be truly consciously aware. That's it. This brings me to a very important question. If you are seeking enlightenment, why do you want that? There might be many reasons but if it is to stop suffering, I have a much better solution for that, something that doesn't require chasing a rainbow.

The problem with enlightenment in modern society is that it requires you to be incredibly ignorant if you want to end suffering through enlightenment. This is because as you awaken, you can see both the light and the dark. If you look around you while you are in your blissful state, you start to see things which are not so blissful. Humanity as a whole is destroying this amazing paradise on Earth, not to mention the harm people indirectly and often unknowingly do to themselves. Try to remain in bliss while seeing that. You can't unless you close your eyes and pretend there is no problem. That is why I couldn't maintain the blissful state of enlightenment. Because I wasn't finished. I have a mission, to be part of the images of Anastasia.

Imagine you live in the Vedruss society thousands of years ago. You live on the land, perhaps in the forest. There is no government, forms to fill in, and no taxes. The community takes care of each other. There is no school as we know it, no work, no money, no being on time, no diseases, just enjoying life. Here you have practically eliminated all causes of modern suffering. In the Vedruss society there is no need to be enlightened in order to end suffering, because there is no suffering to begin with. You have all day, every day to explore consciousness, not being distracted by the chores of life.

Isn't it interesting that Anastasia practically doesn't mention enlightenment anywhere in the books? Yet she mentions conscious awareness and changing ones way of life regularly. Something to think about.

That brings me to the solution. If you are suffering and want to end that, don't look for enlightenment as the answer. Instead, focus on being consciously aware all the time and change your way of life. Ending suffering permanently won't be the result of enlightenment but from changing your conscious awareness, environment, and way of life instead. When we start living like our Vedruss forefathers did, and live in a country where most people live that way, suffering will end. And together with conscious awareness, awakening is there to stay.
